In July 2003 a committee, now called Bawdsey Radar Group, was formed at a public meeting at Bawdsey Manor to take on the challenge of the restoration and development of the Transmitter Block.  The Transmitter Block has recently come into the limelight because it was included in Restoration, the BBC series that features Britain's endangered historic buildings and invites viewers to vote for their favourite.
